Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically within the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with them. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity through the Channel Awesome forums. After joining the official family of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a part in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as frequently appear on the episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
