Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically within the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and an obsession with them. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of Channel Awesome's family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
